eRepublik is a cool online world filled with strategy, politics, and war. Today is day 2165 in came which is the count of how many days since the start of the game. When first starting out, you choose a name and country to begin the daily grind of working and training. Working gives you currency and working for your companies will provide you with raw materials, food, and/or weapons depending on your companies. Training will provide you with strength which determines your attack on the battlefield. You will start out with companies that produce raw material for you to use and a company to produce level 1 or Q1 food. There are also missions that will help guide you through the beginning levels. After every level you unlock more of the game until you reach the level when you become an Adult Citizen.
eRepublik has made a lot of changes over the years. I originally started playing the first version or V1 back in the first year it came out but the system was difficult and the countries where unstable. A lot of changes came with V2 but most of them made thing worse. The price of food to keep you citizen alive cost more than a days wage and at the time you didn't start out with companies that produced food like you do now. Eventually I lost interest and deleted my account...Until recently. I saw an ad that look interesting and clicked on it (which I don't often do). I didn't recognize the game at first until I saw the logo and remembered the it. I almost closed the window but then I stopped and looked around at how much it seemed to changed. So I made a new account and started fresh in the eUK.
The eUK has been incredibly helpful as a new citizen. They send a welcoming letter to you within your first day of playing, and they have a National Health Service in place that provides new citizens with free food (NOTE: you do have to apply for the NHS). Most of the military groups also have rewards for achievements and metals you earn. I would highly recommend the eUK as a great starting place for your new citizen.
My personal strategy if I could start over would be to hold off on fighting in the wars and instead just do the daily grind until your strength reaches 250 and you get your first Super Soldier metal and a Hard Worker metal or two. By that time you will have plenty of money to buy Q6 and Q7 weapons and the strength to deal some serious damage and move up the ranks quickly. I however did not do this. I fought from the very beginning and it worked for me but I have yet to earn a metal and my damage done in battle is weak compared to other my level. They also just added a weekly prestige bar that can earn you more rewards by the numbers of hits you make on the battlefield. rewards this week include faster health recovery, 10 strength points, 1000 storage, 20 strength points, and more.

The Crew
Only available on the next gen consoles and for good reason. Influenced by the Need for Speed Underground games, this game will have the most car customization ever available in a console game. Combine that with a online persistent world spanning the entire USA and you get a truly one of a kind game. I cant wait to get my hands on this one.

The Battle of the Next Gen Consoles
After E3 there has been so many reviews and criticism about the new consoles. Truthfully its just too early to tell which will win out. Both consoles are boasting almost identical hardware and resemble more of a PC rather than a console as we know it. The Xbox One will include the new Kinect 2.0 with a base price of $499.99. The PS4 will not include the Playstation Camera but has been much more open about their system and has stated that they will make it easier for third party developers to create games for the PS4 which could lead to a lot of exclusives. The base price for the PS4 is $399.99 and the camera is only an additional $59.99 which is still less than the Xbox. I will personally be buying a PS4 and so will many of my friends.
So which will you choose?
